ABOUT VIN & CO.

Made with intention. Built from creativity.

My name is Kevin, although some of my friends call me Vin. When I started thinking about creating a brand of my own, Vin & Co. simply felt right. It sounded sophisticated, timeless—and, honestly, like something I could see growing into much more than just a candle company.

I’ve always loved candles. There’s something about a good scent filling a room that can completely change the atmosphere. But as I started looking at the world of fragrance, I noticed something interesting. There were perfumes, colognes, room sprays, car fragrances, and countless other scented products everywhere—but candles seemed to have a different kind of challenge behind them.

So naturally, I wanted to figure it out.

Candlemaking is an incredibly detailed and complicated process. There are a lot of variables, a lot of testing, and a lot that can go wrong, just like most things in life that are worthwhile. And with a mind that constantly needs something new to create and a stubborn need to succeed, I couldn’t let candles beat me.

I had to win.

A DRIVE TO CREATE

Vin & Co. was born out of something I’ve always had a hard time explaining: my drive to create.

I make YouTube videos. I write probably more than I should. I collect records and have always loved music—not because I play an instrument, but because music has a way of putting me in the right headspace to think, create, and get inspired. I love working on cars. Really, anything that gives me an opportunity to take an idea and turn it into something tangible has always had a place in my life.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking something with history and personality, putting in the time, figuring out the problems, and bringing it back to life. Working on old cars has taught me that the process matters just as much as the finished product. The difficult parts are often what make the end result worth caring about.

That’s the same dedication I want to bring to Vin & Co.

WHY BO?

If you’ve seen Vin & Co., you’ve probably noticed the dog.

That’s Bo.

He’s my actual dog, my best friend, and the face of this company. He’s three years old, part Lab, part Husky, and a few other breeds—and he’s every bit as crazy, playful, and energetic as you’d expect.

I wanted Bo to be part of Vin & Co. because this isn’t just a business I’m building. It’s something personal. Incorporating him into the brand gives me another reason to care about where this goes and another reminder of why I started it in the first place.

So when you see Bo in the Vin & Co. logo, you’re not looking at a mascot created by a marketing team.

You’re looking at my best friend.

THE WAY IT SHOULD FEEL

At the end of the day, I don’t want Vin & Co. to simply make things that smell good.

I want to create things that make you feel good.

A candle burning while you sit down with a good book. A scent filling the room while your favorite album plays. Something in the car that makes the drive home a little better. A fragrance that becomes associated with a particular night, place, person, or memory.

I’ve gotten that feeling from other people’s music, books, art, cars, and fragrances throughout my life.

Vin & Co. is my way of creating something that can give that feeling back.

SMALL BATCH. BIG INTENTION.

Every product we create is made with the same patience and dedication that I bring to everything I care about.

We’re not trying to make something for everyone. That is the beauty of creativity and making something your own. It’s not going to be for everyone, but it’s for you.

We’re here to create carefully considered fragrances, make them well, and give each one a reason to exist.

Vin & Co. started with candles, but the idea has always been bigger than that. I want to build a collection of products that bring fragrance into the different parts of everyday life—from the home, to the car, to wherever life takes you.

This is something I’m building from the ground up.

And I’m just getting started.

VIN & CO.

Create something worth keeping.
